When I got this MK watch I was basically looking for an everyday watch and it definitely has become just that as they appear in 90% of my post

These glasses are Jessica Simpson and I absolutely adore them....(yes I consider $50 pricey  for a pair if you are considering creating a collection) however Burlington Coat Factory have a wide collections of JS sunglasses just under $25 I can't help myself from getting one of her pairs each time I shop there.

Everything girly

Since the Soiree in early November I have not had a girls night out and I just have a craving for one like soonest, I am overwhelm with school work and so need a break with the ladies. If that does happen soon black and gold is definitely my ideal outfit with a pop of burgundy lip. I've fallen in love with Burgundy lip in the past 2 weeks and just keep loving it. Its girls night so a fun, playful and flowery fabric will definitely do paired with some tights to keep warm (I go double layered with tights). With this dress neckline, keep the neck area simple and throw in a pair of long/drop earrings. 5-6 inches platform pump are usually my first grab when it comes to shoes and these gold glittered pump are fabulous. (I've got my eyes on them for my next shoe purchase). With this outfit I'd ditch the boyfriend watch and go for skinny feminine watch with some rings to go. Throw in a girly knee length coat and head out the door for a great night with the ladies.

ThankFULL

Happy thanksgiving day to all my lovely Bloggers, whether its thanksgiving day at your place today or not just take out a few minuets to examine what you are thankful for. Personally I am thankful for the gift of life and to be able to share it with the ones I love the most, family, friends and well wishers. They are all AHHH-MAZING!!

I spend my pre-thanksgiving at the mall because I am not a big in-store black Friday person so I do pre- thanksgiving shopping and then shop everything else online on Friday.

So I went to my favorite store and while at it I decided to get some foundation and powder, you may have notice I only wear eye shadows and blush every once in a blue moon. I actually LOVE LOVE the look.  not sure if I will be keeping it though, look like my skin was reacting to it so I might try it on one more time to see what happens.

Speaking of thanksgiving sale my other fabulous store EXPRESS have got some amazing discount 50% off everything in store and online. That oxblood dress

The Other day I was looking through my blog and realize a lot of my outfit post has some shades blues and green and I thought I'd shop my closet for a different color this Sunday, I got this dress quite a while back from Asos but never wore it. I got it in a size 2 but realized I should have ordered a size up since its a bodycon dress. I paired it up with a studded cardigan to  avoid excess self consciousness.

Hello bellas Hope you are all having a lovely week and excited for the weekend. The weather on my end have been pretty much bi-polar and off course my body have to react to it so I have been locked indoor with a cold :(. In the mean time here is one of my outfit for school with the sun out.

I just might be enjoying styling these braids a little too much

This is definitely one of my favorite leggings this fall, I've probably worn it a million times already and I keep loving it more each time

I've got a love relationship with anything maxi skirts, maxi dresses, or jumpsuits. I am pretty short standing at 5'3 so any attire that makes me appear taller always makes me smile. Pair up a maxi dress with a 5 inches pair of heels and we are good to go. My camera was really acting up on Sunday, it looked like there was something on the lens so most of the pictures came out bad and so I did not have enough to post on here. In the mean time enjoy the achieves and stay tune for my next post.

Soirée

This past weekend I attended a few events and my favorite was the Annual National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Soiree Elegance event. I am really not a party type of person meaning you will never catch me at a club hehe,  but when it comes to wine and dine in a classy atmosphere with some intellectual people I am so on board. This year I was going back as an Alumni meaning there will be several people I have not seen in a very long time and off course dress to impress. Shopping was definitely not an option so I dug in my closet and Guess what I found? my pageant/Prom dress from 6 years ago. Surprisingly enough it still fitted perfectly. The dress is completely beaded so its a little heavy but I still picked it because I wanted to stay as feminine as possible (Never fall for the stereotype that female Engineers are tomboys). Enjoy the pictures

The event was totally amazing with many Alumni, I definitely enjoyed seeing old faces. Had hundreds of pictures but not so many personals and here are some of my  longest and closest friends who were also in attendance and definitely would not mind their pictures on here

My future doctor, sister from another mother, keeping strong from high school  to college days and many yrs to come

Team NSBE_Love, the tightest family I found in NSBE, Mr. K my Co-Electrical engineer who keeps me going when I thought I could not take it no more and Ms. M the one we love so dearly and call little sister.
